Reading the journal

The website provides articles and shopping information without a newsletter, membership registration, contact form or payment facility. Search and filters run within the page. The site code does not set cookies, use browser storage, load optional analytics or advertising pixels, or embed social media players.

Cloudflare provides hosting and network delivery. Serving a page involves technical information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details and security events. This processing supports delivery, reliability and abuse prevention, on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication. Cloudflare may also process service data for its own security and legal purposes under its applicable privacy terms.

Cookies and external links

No optional tracking technology is included in the site code. Cloudflare security services can use strictly necessary cookies when security features are applied. Any such cookie depends on the service actually used; it is not an advertising cookie installed by this journal.

An external link takes you to another provider. Amazon and other retailers may use cookies on their own sites for functions including purchase attribution. Their privacy notices apply there. Selecting an email link opens your chosen email application; the page does not load a Gmail widget.

When you email us

We use Google Gmail to receive and reply to inquiries. We process your email address, message and any information you choose to include to respond and manage the correspondence. Depending on the inquiry, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering communications, steps requested before a contract, or a legal obligation. Please avoid sending sensitive information.

The public +cch email address is an alias in an existing Gmail mailbox, not a separate account or separate data store. Google processes email and service information under the terms applicable to that Gmail account. We do not describe it as a paid Google Workspace account or assume a Workspace processing agreement applies.

Telephone, WhatsApp and social profiles

If you contact us by telephone or WhatsApp Business, we use your contact details, messages and information you choose to share to respond and handle your inquiry. Our legitimate interest is managing professional correspondence; other legal grounds may apply to contractual requests or legal obligations. Please avoid sending sensitive information.

Bimii Studio is the shared business contact for Click and Chic Hub, Learning & Skills Hub, and Lucia Nima, not a separate legal entity. We organize correspondence by project and do not use an inquiry to enroll you in marketing. The professional contact number is separate from the owner’s personal number.

WhatsApp Business — Bimii Studio is an external contact service, not a chat widget embedded in this website. WhatsApp receives information when you use that service and may process data internationally under its applicable terms and safeguards. See WhatsApp’s privacy information and WhatsApp Business terms. Social profile icons are ordinary external links: no social widgets, pixels or scripts are loaded by the journal.

We apply the same maximum 12-month period after closure to professional inquiry records we control, except where a legal obligation or litigation justifies longer retention. This does not promise deletion from another participant’s device or immediate erasure from provider backups.

How long information is kept

We retain inquiry correspondence for the time needed to resolve it and manage any related follow-up. Our contact retention policy is normally up to 12 months after an inquiry is closed, unless a longer period is necessary for a specific legal obligation or unresolved claim. Relevant information may be kept longer where a legal record-keeping requirement or an ongoing dispute requires it.

Cloudflare retains relevant service and security data according to the service, configuration and purposes described in its privacy information. We do not assign all Cloudflare information a single fixed retention period. Google retains email content until it is deleted and applies its own deletion, backup, security and legal retention processes. Deleting a message is not a guarantee of immediate deletion from all provider backups.

Recipients and international processing

Cloudflare, Google and, if you choose to contact us there, WhatsApp receive information needed to provide their respective services. They operate internationally, and information may be processed outside Romania and the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards can include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider, recipient and service. Your choices and rights

Under the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction, and portability where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a future service relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent. Some rights are subject to legal conditions. Contact the operator at the address above to make a request.

You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at www.dataprotection.ro. We update this notice when our services or relevant processing change.
